Design submitted to contest

Today is the due date to submit entries to the Crafts Blog Header Contest from the Martha Steward website. I already sent my entry that you can see here along with the blog header they currently have.

My idea was to make it appealing and fun, showing craft related techniques or materials. I also considered a color palette that compliments and contrasts at the same time with the rest of the web page where the blog appears.

Now we wait for their favorites to be posted on Monday May 25 and after that people will vote for their favorite design. Good luck to all the contestants!
