Happy 122nd Birtdhay!

Today the Eiffel Tower turns 122. It was on March 31st, 1889, that the Tower had been finished in record time – 2 years, 2 months and 5 days – and was established as a veritable technical feat. Ever since it has been an icon present almost daily in our lives. Everywhere we turn, there's a piece of art, fashion, object or advertising that includes "La Tour Eiffel". It's definitely in my to-do list of places to visit.
